Das Bolschoi Theater befindet sich auf dem Theaterplatz in Moskau. Das Theater verfügt über 2155 Plätze (historische Bühne), 1000 Plätze (Neue Bühne) und 320 Plätze im Beethovensaal. Der Künstlerische Leiter ist Makvala Kasrashvili, der Chefdirigent Tugan Sokhiev. 1776 wurde das Theater erbaut.
