Das Opern- und Ballettheater Woronesch befindet sich am Leninplatz 7 in Woronesch. Es wurde 1968 errichtet. Derzeitiger Chefdirigent ist Yuri Petrovich Anisichkin und Künstlerischer Leiter Andrey Kirillovich Ogievsky. Das Theater hat 1073 Plätze. Bereits 1931 entstand in Woronesch ein Komödientheater, das Operetten und Komödien für die dortigen Arbeiter aufführte. 1960 entschied man sich, das Theater neu zu organisieren. Als erste Premiere kam am 25. Februar 1961 Tschaikowskys "Eugen Onegin" zur Aufführung. 1968 wurde das Theater in Opern- und Balletttheater Woronesch umbenannt. Es ist das größte Theater der Центральном Черноземье.

Нынешний главный дирижер - Юрий Петрович Анисичкин, художественный руководитель - Андрей Кириллович Огиевский. В театре 1073 места. Еще в 1931 году в Воронеже был создан театр комедии, где для рабочих ставили оперетты и комедии. В 1960 году было решено реорганизовать театр. Первой премьерой стал «Евгений Онегин» Чайковского 25 февраля 1961 года. В 1968 году театр был переименован в Воронежский театр оперы и балета. Это самый большой театр в Центрально-Черноземном регионе.
