Der estnische Bass Priit Volmer wurde 1978 in Tartu geboren und studierte bis 2000 Gesang an der Heino-Eller-Musikschule in Tartu bei Henn Pai und von 2000 bis 2004 an der Estnischen Musikakademie bei Virgilijus Noreika, Matti Pelo und Jaakko Ryhänen. Dazu kamen Meisterkurse bei Maria Acda, Rudolf Piernay und David Jones. Von 1998 bis 2000 war er Mitglied des Opernchores des Vanemuine Theaters und von 2000 bis 2004 des Opernchors der Estnischen Nationaloper, deren Solist er von 2004 bis 2013 war und ab 2013 erneut ist. Von 2013 bis 2017 war er Solist der Oper Bonn. Zu seinem Repertoire gehören u.a. Don Pasquale (Don Pasquale), Daland (Der fliegende Holländer), Marke (Tristan und Isolde), Vasily Sobakin (Zarenbraut), Bartolo (Le nozze di Figaro) und Sarastro (Zauberflöte).
Эстонский бас Прийт Фольмер родился в Тарту в 1978 году и до 2000 года учился пению в Тартуской музыкальной школе имени Хейно Эллера у Хенна Пая, а с 2000 по 2004 год - в Эстонской музыкальной академии у Виргилиюса Норейка, Матти Пело и Яакко Рюханена. Также были мастер-классы с Марией Акда, Рудольфом Пьерне и Дэвидом Джонсом. С 1998 по 2000 год он был солистом оперного хора театра «Ванемуйне», а с 2000 по 2004 год — оперного хора Национальной оперы «Эстония», где он был солистом с 2004 по 2013 год и снова с 2013 года. С 2013 по 2017 год был солистом Боннской оперы. В его репертуаре Дон Паскуале («Дон Паскуале»), Даланд («Летучий голландец»), Марке («Тристан и Изольда»), Василий Собакин («Царская невеста»), Бартоло («Свадьба Фигаро») и Зарастро («Волшебная флейта»).
Estonia bass Priit Volmer on sündinud 1978. aastal Tartus ning õppinud laulmist Tartus Heino Elleri nimelises Muusikakoolis Henn Pai käe all aastani 2000 ning Eesti Muusikaakadeemias Virgilijus Noreika, Matti Pelo ja Jaakko Ryhäneni juures 2000–2004. Toimusid ka meistriklassid Maria Acda, Rudolf Piernay ja David Jonesiga. Aastatel 1998–2000 kuulus ta Vanemuise teatri ooperikoori ja 2000–2004 Rahvusooper Estonia ooperikoori, kus ta oli solist 2004–2013 ja on taas 2013. aastast. Aastatel 2013–2017 oli ta Bonni Ooperi solist. Tema repertuaari kuuluvad Don Pasquale (Don Pasquale), Daland (Lendav hollandlane), Marke (Tristan und Isolde), Vassili Sobakin (Tsaari pruut), Bartolo (Le nozze di Figaro) ja Sarastro (Võluflööt).
The Estonian bass Priit Volmer was born in Tartu in 1978 and studied singing at the Heino Eller Music School in Tartu with Henn Pai until 2000 and at the Estonian Music Academy with Virgilijus Noreika, Matti Pelo and Jaakko Ryhänen from 2000 to 2004. There were also master classes with Maria Acda, Rudolf Piernay and David Jones. From 1998 to 2000 he was a member of the opera choir of the Vanemuine Theater and from 2000 to 2004 of the opera choir of the Estonian National Opera, where he was a soloist from 2004 to 2013 and is again from 2013. From 2013 to 2017 he was a soloist at the Bonn Opera. His repertoire includes Don Pasquale (Don Pasquale), Daland (The Flying Dutchman), Marke (Tristan und Isolde), Vasily Sobakin (Tsar's Bride), Bartolo (Le nozze di Figaro) and Sarastro (Magic Flute).
